A Lift

You start at the bottom pacing yourself as you slowly move, judging your distance, judging when is the right time.

One step at a time, one beat at a time.

Your heart is racing, nervous, breathing deeply while you look around to see who is watching you don’t want to miss, you don’t want to be embarrassed so you take a deep breath.

You are on your way up –

Lift.
