Women Lie. Men Lie.

Everybody lies.
Maybe the truth is too hard to handle.
I’d like to think I can handle the truth,
But reality arises with the sunrise.
I used to think I could handle the truth,
But maybe some things are better left unsaid.
Yeah the truth hurts sometimes,
But everybody has a truth.
Truth frequency is like no other,
It hits you down in your soul,
You’re still as stone as it sets in.
I could say that I won’t get where I’m going if I lie,
But that’d be a lie.
People cheat their way to the top all the time.
In a world full of lies,
I realize all the times that I should’ve followed my own intuition,
When I ignored a gut feeling that just didn’t feel right.
Times when I was thinking like damn,
I should’ve lied.
I can’t stand a liar, their energy be like ew you’re fake
They bother me,
My transparency,
My authenticity,
I just want to be true.
And it’s hard to see the truth sometimes,
Even when it’s staring you in the face
You know the truth,
Yet you run from the truth,
And what if you neglect to tell the truth?
If you neglect to tell the truth is it a lie?
It’s a secret.
I’m no liar,
But I’ll keep a secret,
But only if its worth it.
Vague, and misunderstood and I’ll never understand that,
But I’ll keep it.
I just want to be freer
And truth is that,
The truth is the only thing that’ll set me free.
My truth,
My story.
This is real life and I just wanna keep it real,
I’ve known far too many fakes.
