Weeping Willow

What a beautiful piece of nature you are
With drooping branches throughout
Your short round trunk holds so much strength
With leaves shimmering all about

The first of your kind to awaken
And the last to have your long sleep
With so much beauty
It’s a wonder why you weep

You gracefully sweep the ground
So gentle when the wind blows
The music of the earth sways through you
A sweet melody or song of sorrow, nobody knows

Washington Native. I am an adventurer trapped in a broken shell. I love deep and loud. My pain and happiness comes out on paper. Enjoy.
