Unfiltered

I’m not really sure anyone gets me, people conjure up all these preconceived notions. I’m not just a picture or a body, I’m a brain and a strong, fiery soul. I suppose we can’t blame humanity, judgement comes naturally, after all.

Everyone always thinks I’m so strong and they can say whatever because it won’t matter but that’s not the truth exactly. I am strong but I am weak. I am light but I am darkness. I am sunshine and clouds of grey. I’m fire and I’m water, I’m full of passion. I refuse to feel broken. Sometimes, I, too need someone to wipe the trail of tears running down sweet and somber face.

I’m not always right, I’m not always wrong, I admit it, I’ve made my fair share of mistakes. I’m only human, I’m no superwoman.

I’m that good kind of crazy, the kind that won’t leave your side without igniting that fire in your heart. I want you to reach your potential and realize exactly who you are. Because just like you, we all deserve a chance to show the world what were made of.

I won’t leave just because it’s easy, I’ll stay and fight because it’s worthwhile. I won’t settle for anything less than butterflies and goosebumps, whether that be for career, friendships, or love. When you settle you always end up losing, may it be money, may it be love, may it be happiness or all of the above. It’s not a game, it’s an uphill battle to the top. I’m in it to win it, not so sure about you.
