The Thing About Antiheroes

He was each extreme and all steadfast. Like an antihero penned for a novel.
There was still a tranquil honesty in his eyes behind a wall of a hardened past.
She feared if she tread too fast, he’d disappear in a flash.
But that’s the thing about antiheroes, you can’t expect them to save the world
When they can’t even save themselves.

I am Isabella and I write in a mix of poetry and prose. Although everything I write is fiction, my writing is usually based in my relationships, whether they be with my loved ones or a certain situation I'm in. I value the power writing has to transform overwhelming and hard-to-understand feelings into something tangible. I hope you enjoy!
