The King’s Pawn

I know I am just a pawn

In the lives of those withdrawn

Maybe I am just a light

Maybe I am just your appetite.

I am used and I am worn

I give out love to those unborn

Of true affection and empathy

I have never known apathy

I will love those with a twisted mind

But why must I be so confined

To never experience my own love?

Because when push comes to shove

No one is here to support me

The way I support the world’s company.

Born and raised in San Diego, California, I am a creative and eccentric young woman who desires to be a writer. I am in currently studying creative writing at school and aspire to receive my masters in the future. I am two sides of one coin; I enjoy writing sensitive poetry, my own analysis on astrology and tarot and I write morbid short horror stories.
