The Hustle

It’s amazing what dreams and ambitions can do for the soul.

Dreams make it bubble and fizzle, like a pop when it’s open after shaken.

A feeling that’s always there within you.

As a reminder of your potential and what you COULD do.

I’m too ambitious for people.

With their traditional hardy ways.

If I told them my dreams they would probably set me on fire with their gaze.

It’s okay though because I know what I want to do.

Unlike most teenagers who just follow their crew.

I’m different because I want to fulfill my dreams.

So it’s okay if I look crazy and become one of their memes.

I would recommend ambition to almost everyone.

I say almost because it’s really not for everyone.

What I mean to say is, “be careful what you wish for.”

Because sometimes the things you want aren’t the best for you.

So just trust God’s Plan.
