The Darkness

You seduce me
Dragging me in with your dark lust

It’s so easy to let yourself go

When you tell me “this is a better life”

I slip into your darkness
Watching the light disappear

It fades so quickly when you feel nothingPart of me wants something to feel
I know I should have something to hold onto to

To keep me going
But how can I hold something that was never there

There’s a voice saying don’t fade completely
There’s still light inside of you

Suddenly I stop

Floating in midst of everything
Wondering if I should sink or swim
