The Color of You

periwinkle/ sad and true/ the color that bounces off of your body/ it’s a soft sadness/ it doesn’t scare me away / you seem to be gentled by it/ tamed by the sorrows of life rather than claimed by them/ you’ve seen colors others have not/ I want to know them/  I want to know you.
