Riptide

My stomach churns from the waves,
Becoming uneasy from the suspicious pull.
Violent tides rip me,
Distressing my body until it is only pieces.
Morsels of my being tumble out of control,
Longing to simultaneously crash into you, whole.
The ocean, your choices,
And the debris, my soul.
