please email me / but don’t—

please email me

if you’ve ever loved me
if you’ve ever thought you needed me
if I was the soul who kept you up at night
or the girl who walked your dreams.
because there isn’t a spot
in this rag doll heart
that has yet been convinced
that I’m wanted,
needed,
loved

But don’t—

because
there is One who has
known me
loved me
chased after me.
He has written to me daily,
He has loved me as I am.
and no once-love,
half-love, or if-love
would have ever been enough
for a lover’s heart
like mine.

Hi! I’m a Seattle-based therapist and writer. My life’s goal is to give people permission to take up space, live a little freer, and to encourage authentic, vulnerable humanity. So that’s what I write about. Authentic, real, good, bad, and messy truths from my tiny human life.
