Real Stories

Nostalgia

I used to stand in our memories day after day, night after night and wait. Wait for the person I knew you could be, the person I fell in love with. I counted the seconds, the minutes, and the hours hoping that one day you would put away childish things and love me the way that I love you. Eventually I would find out that you too were standing in our past, waiting. That you had finally realized I was “the one.” That you were done making foolish decisions and you were ready to spend your life with me. It’s unfortunate that we were never standing in the same spot at the same time. When you finally decided to arrive where I had been all along, I was no longer there.

I've always loved the arts and began writing when I was eight-years old. I believe art is a beautiful way of expressing yourself and an amazing form of therapy be it performing, written or visual. I enjoy traveling, cooking, spending time with friends and family and a good glass of wine.
