Neglected Heart

No matter how many times her heart has spoken, she tends to ignore her.
The same way she ignores the signs from all those men.
Her heart is never confused.
And she’d still lose.

Putting aside the sad songs her heart has been singing.
All because of all the hurt men have been bringing.
I hope she listens one day.
One day she will stop pleading with her and have nothing to say.

I wish she held her heart better.
She seem to forget her in any different weather.
Hopefully she doesn’t retaliate by turning cold.
At the end of the day she has no one else to hold.
