Mint Oreos

Mint Oreos

Two cookies cemented by green cream

our story is Mint Oreos

I first promised to love in my dream

hug you tight then as I do now

this Oreo™ can’t split in two

we are best enjoyed together

each bite just as sweet as the first

time I held your hand

gently wipe the crumbs from your face

we won’t fall apart

two cookies begging to stay together

until the last bite

Hi, I'm Christa!
All writers will say they love words, and its true! As a writer, a poet, I love how you can string words together, make them so perfect your bones shake. I try to use my words to encourage others. I create poetry that tells of the human experience; how we feel, love, cry, and live. I write to so that, if only for two lines, you may feel heard and understood.
