Make me believe it

Tell me that you love me…

Make me believe it…

It sucks that I need so much reassurance

Compliment my appearance…

Make me believe it…

It sucks that they left me so broken

Barely knowing how to love

Barely knowing if it even exists

Change my mind with a kiss

My mind is broken, can you assist?

When I resist, please persist

I want it, I just don’t know how to want it

It haunts me, it taunts me

Tell me that you love me…

And please make me believe it

You’re different than this generation

You actually like having conversations

And when I’m feeling down, you’re my motivation

You hit all my expectations

Tell me you love me and change my whole situation

Hello,
My name is Glory Castillo. I have been writing poetry since a very young age. Being an only child, I needed to find a way to process pain alone. I believe poetry is a form of art, expression and therapy. It helps me cope and it also makes me happy when other people can relate to it. Being in the health care field, gives me a better understanding of how important it is to let your mind relax and your thoughts flow. Poetry is my therapy.
