She came

Slowly, slowly, slowly

I agonized

Wondering

How much longer?

I yearned to hold

Her in my arms

To smell her

Sweetness

And hear her voice

And when she arrived

It was bliss

Mixed

With trauma

The cuts of a new incision

Unplanned

Just like

Her
