I’m Still Waiting For The Old You To Come Back

i’ve never been the patient type

but i’ll keep holding on to

the memory of you until it finally

finds a way to unwind time

i’ve never been a lover of horror

but i’ll keep holding on to

the ghost of you until it finally

finds a way to come back to life

i’ve never been one to reminisce

but i’ll keep holding on to

the image of you until it finally

looks like the love we had before

i’ve never been good with directions

but i’ll keep holding on to

the feeling of you until it finally

leads the old me back home.
