I suppose

Gentle kisses

You whisper sweet things, I listen

Your love motivates me, I’m driven

And when I’m lonely at night, it’s you I be missing

I was awake, but I wasn’t living

You’ve released me from my mental prison

I have a vision, and I see us winning

My world was still, but you got it spinning

Make some jokes, smoke a joint and we start sipping

Caress my soul, be my half, make me feel whole

You want to be in control and I don’t oppose

You just want to love me, I suppose

Hello,
My name is Glory Castillo. I have been writing poetry since a very young age. Being an only child, I needed to find a way to process pain alone. I believe poetry is a form of art, expression and therapy. It helps me cope and it also makes me happy when other people can relate to it. Being in the health care field, gives me a better understanding of how important it is to let your mind relax and your thoughts flow. Poetry is my therapy.
