How Do I Smile Now?

You’re leaving me here all alone
Left to face things on my own
No where to turn, no hand to hold
My world’s just become more dark and cold

Always my shoulder, my rock, my friend
Willing to lend your helping hand
Now what will I do when you’re not here
Forgetting memories is my biggest fear
How do I smile when I’m dying inside
All these feeling I have to hide
Afraid to lose all that we are
My closest friend you were by far
Know that you gave me the very best
Even making the choice to rest
I love you more than my selfish needs
For you this heart of mine will always bleed

Washington Native. I am an adventurer trapped in a broken shell. I love deep and loud. My pain and happiness comes out on paper. Enjoy.
