Her Empty Room

The room is empty
She senses coldness
Of the bare floor
Up against her
Are four naked walls

Rejection tears fall
Off lonely eyes
Silent sounds
Hollow thoughts
No fixtures around
Keeping her upright

Nothing in sight
The vacancy seals
Each square-foot
Of her heart
The room is empty
