Freedom isn’t Free

One hand tied behind your back
the other on attack
A closed fist unable to receive
A closed mind unable to believe
One eye blind
so the other is fixed on whats behind
instead of what lies ahead
Come along, bring your feet
but leave your head
I will tell you what you need
what you need is greed
consume and pay no heed
as we walk through your tomb
enough, enough
no more pesky questions
Questions lead only to depression
depression to aggression
aggression to transgression
transgression to oppression
and we wouldn’t want that would we?
If only if only you could see
what’s best for you
also happens to be what’s best for me
the sooner you see
the sooner you’ll be free

I am always finding myself. I’m never a finished article. On some days l am healed, and on others I am still healing. On some days I am pen, and on other days I am a journal. I’m always evolving.
