Difference

Opposite feeling.

A different type of healing.

I’m appealing.

But your selfishness is reveling.

I see your pride bleeding.

Shut me out to protect you…

Pull me in to other things when you knew…

You know your emotions don’t ring true.

Hot pocket sex, but your hugs are cold brew.

Can we have a safe space just for us two?

Your arms don’t show love like it should.

I can slip out…I easily could.

You’re not happy here…love is not your neighborhood.
