Darkness’s Greeting

There’s a war in my head.

I’d rather stay in bed.

My heart is aching.

I’m slowly breaking.

A dark cloud

Shouting very loud.

Darkness comes out to play.

Please, go away.

An old foe,

Greeting me, “hello.”

Never my friend.

I want it all to end.

No one sees me bleeding.

The art of deceiving.

I feel so alone,

Wishing I was made of stone.

No one hears my screams.

How I wish it was all a dream.

As i drown in the storm

With nobody to keep me warm.

A writer with a dream. I've been writing since I was a kid. My dream was and still is, to become a published author. Reading and writing are my passions.
