Choked by Silence

Cold, boney hands
around my throat
Squeezing
As I stand
Still, Helpless

My voice retreats
Scared of being
Shattered
Beneath the
nothingness

My words
go unnoticed
They start
to fade away

I forget
how to
Speak
Connect

No longer
able
To
Form words

Silence
