As It Turns Out

Turns out,

Knowing what you want to do for your life at 18yrs old isn’t all that normal.

Turns out

Going to school and getting a job and then changing your mind ten years into it, happens.

Turns out

That you don’t have to have your life figured out when you graduate.

Turns out

You can say “screw it” at 35 and decide to start writing.

Turns out

It’s just as scary and just as hard but twice as fulfilling.

Turns out

It’s never too late to pursue your dreams.

My name is Brittany, and I'm 34 years old. I'm a veteran, a stay at home mom, a military spouse, yogi, and aspiring writer. I have two college degrees, a BA in Political Science and an MA in Intelligence Studies, and I'm working on my second degree in Creative Writing. I'm finally pursing my passion in life which is and always has been writing. I've begun sharing my poetry online on my blog site, and am working on setting up a public profile. I don't know what I'm supposed to write I just know I'm supposed to do it.
