April Tarot + Animal Medicine Reading

Justice + Lion Spirit

These cards, friends, do not surprise me in the least coming to us at a time such as this. We have been, and continue to be heading into unknown waters. Waters that are thrashing in every possible direction and seemingly trying to drawn us in their wake.

These cards, and this time, is a call into a great cosmic rebalancing; a realigning of spirit and earth; id and ego; yin and yang. And although none of this seems fair right now, and while none of it seems right or just or good, it is the hand we have been dealt as a global society and therefore it is our time to play it out. But remember, in the act of playing it out, every choice and every action and every move has an equal or greater reaction. And the reaction we seek right now is one that returns us to a fulfilled and balanced way of living.

Our sense of strength is what will get us through this. Our sense of trust. Our sense of justness.

And personally, I know how difficult that can be to grapple with, as my own sense of being has been thrown off in the wake of these unknown waters. But then, I am recognizing, acknowledging and am coming to a place where my being is once more enough. It is different, and has changed, but it is and will continue to be enough.

Justice asks us to treat ourselves fairly. Treat each other fairly. Treat Mother Earth fairly.

And I am uncertain as to whether or not we have truly been doing this.

So now we are called being back into simplicity. Called back to peel all the unnecessary away. Called back into redefining and reawakening. Called back into realigning with our own sense of power and ability to be enough in the midst of this chaos.

Each and every one of us has the power to be a leader in this moment. By supporting those who need to be supported. By stepping up for the betterment of our families, our communities, and our global society. Some of us will be unable or unwilling to step up in this magnitude, and that is okay, there is nothing wrong with that. But, for many of us, we will hear the Great Lion’s roar and answer it with our own mighty voice. Because this is what we were called to do. We were called to be shape shifters. Called to be time changers. Called to wield the sword of truth, and justice, and karma.

Everything has purpose and reason. Whether you back me on that or not, this is what I believe; and, in time, we will understand our individual and collective purpose and reasoning behind the current times. But for right now, I challenge you to rise and take ownership over being responsible for the global shift that needs to occur. Be a leader in your own way. Navigate these unknown waters and make those waves known and understood. This is what we are called to. Do you hear the calling’s roar? Good. Answer it with your own.
