Am I the Only One?

Am I the Only One?

Am I the only one who feels this way?
Feels that they want to be a part of something bigger than themselves
Where they can be seen and heard

Am I silly for wanting this?
Wanting to belong in this space and in this world?
Where I am not alone
Where I can be myself
Where I don’t dim my own light

Am I the only one who feels this way?
That I belong here
That I am worth it
Am I the only one?

I can’t be the only one

Things I believe in:
No human is illegal
Immigrants make America great
Black lives matter

My body my choice
No ban, no wall
Ending gender-based violence
The future is female
