twenty twenty

Silent sleepers

Crushed crowds

Midnight creepers

Your words are loud

November floods

slows down dreams

the hope that was

This whole year

This season of slow

Maybe it wasn’t to find out where we couldn’t go

But to find out what it is

To know what is Home.

in them I found

all that is

Wild wondrous and willful

In me I lost all that was

dusty dark and drowned
