Stitching Love Spells Under The Light Of The Moon

Sitting under the awning of the night sky

And I said

Meet me when the moon is waxing,

I don’t want to be without tonight.

Meet me when we know what’s happening

I don’t want to be without tonight.

We found the moonbeams when we least expected

Somehow for a moment it all made sense.

Then back again we go

And square one again.

I won’t go without delight

For the greatest I had felt so far was

When my heart

Was stitched back together

By the very needle that had pierced the finger—

Drawing blood and unrest.

The universe works its magic

When the moon is full,

When we say our prayers,

And when we least expect it.

Trust…trust…trust.

The moon became full when we forgot to count hours and

All of the burdens became untangled in webs.

Overthinking was left on the shelf when present self

Wasn’t full of the unknown.

Who knows what the next day will make,

Who knows if all is right or a mistake?

Who knows, but still we must keep trusting.

And I call in

The love that is meant for me, the love that is meant for you

And I call for it to be passionate and kind.

Bitter old love songs make tears turn sour but

Sour candy oftentimes turns sweet in the end.

Stitching love spells under the light of the moon,

Making the grand scheme of things delight in the fact

That we each have been love all along.

For now, we shall keep watching the moon,

And attending to her message

As we smile

In the knowledge of our fates.
