Black lives matter. period. full stop.

why is this even a question still dropped?

why is there an and, but, or?

white lives don’t matter more.

“all lives matter”? are we still going there?

isn’t this a world we all share?

justice for every black or brown life lost

hold law enforcement accountable at every cost

no justice, no peace

men and women in blue

this one is for you.

respect is given when it is returned

something that the Brass needs to learn,

when a woman – black or brown – is assaulted

that is not an investigation that should be halted;

when a man is unsuspicious do not check the colour of their skin,

he is not going to commit a crime based on his kin.

having a badge, does not give you power to cause pain,

nor is it a pass to have black and brown men slain.

wearing the uniform of blue means you give every life its due.

good cops keep the streets clean.

it’s bad cops we call for the streets to clean.
