Growing up in the South, I learned to show hospitality to everyone. I came from a background where my great-grandmother is Native American. She was an very respectful creative woman who had a lot of talent in her creative side.
She would make a place mats, runners and decorative pieces for the center of her dinning room table. Most of all, she sewed, crocheted and knitted a lot of clothes for the family — even for my grandmother.
Now I know you’re wondering where am I going with this story…
Sometimes in life, we get so busy that we don’t even know who we all are in this life. Our identity is very important and it’s a part of our purpose in life. Who knew, because I was so creative, that I came from a background of powerful women who continued in the purpose that God has given unto them. I found out too that I am 1/2 African American and 1/2 Native American. I am truly amazed in the woman I have become in life.
I can also now identity who I am by the natural curly hair, hazel and blue eyes that change colors, and the creative way of talent I have in my life.
We have to look past our faults and distractions, and dig deep; do some research about ourselves so we can find our true identity and purpose. So we may walk in unity with each other.
You are an amazing person and I am waiting on you to share your life with us all.
