Million Dollar Question

The Million Dollar Question
There are lots of questions
That go through my head
Should I ask them
Or are they better left unsaid
All kind of thoughts
All kind of visions
Making sure I make the right decision
Going through a tunnel
Still remaining humble
I may have fallen or even stumbled
But I still stood
Through the bad and the good
The million dollar question
Still stands
Why do we try to impress so many people on land?
Where’s the helping hand?
Has it left?
Do we feel as we can do it ourself?
What about our wealth
From within
Did we let it end
What about friends
When times get rough
Will you help them get through some stuff
The million dollar question
Why so much rejection?
To the world
What happened when people use to care
What happened with dreams we use to share
What happened to teams that use to put in work?
Why do we focus so much on being hurt
Or hurting each other
What happened to us loving one another
And the support
Why did it leave
Why are so many people filled with greed
I’ve asked all these questions for our protection
You choose which is your million dollar question?

The Voice behind the pen
The pen and the paper
The paper and the pen
You can rewrite your story
From the beginning to the end
Erase it , rough draft
Direct your path
Who can explain the pen better
Than Ms. Concetta
