Next Lifetime

“Your energy feels so damn good to me.” Have you ever met someone that felt like a blanket on a cold day? Or like sitting next to a fire? Just warm. Yet, it’s almost forbidden or unavailable. It has a caution or warning label.

It’s texting, waiting for a reply while wanting to delete what you’ve already sent. Wanting to roll your eyes while smiling.

It’s a path you don’t go down, well maybe a little, but close enough for you to run back where you started. It’s like smiling and flirting while yielding. It’s treading lightly while wanting to race to see what lies ahead.

It’s so much grey when you’re yearning black and white separately. It’s glances, deep conversations and laughs while saying no to it all. It’s knowing them to the core while barely knowing their name. It’s weird. It’s not currently going to happen. It’s next lifetime.

I am currently putting my energy into myself while studying for the bar exam, and completing my first book. My favorite thing to write about is current events, my life or what is going on around me. Writing affects my mental health greatly as it is the best outlet! Writing puts me in a good zen-like mood. Harness empowers me as a woman because it is a no judgement, free flowing publishing platform just for women. It's a home, in a sense that you can feel comfortable as well as go to Instagram and find inspirational and self-care tips.
