Endless Roar

*Content Warning: This piece contains a reference to an eating disorder, which may be triggering to some.*

Watching, waiting fear in her eyes
Those few calories on her thighs
Hurting, panicking, feeling sick, how she feels with that last lick
Ice cream, chocolate, biscuits, none
Too fat, too stuffed she feels so numb
Pressure, piers, painfully thin, you are beautiful let’s stay slim
Healing, slowly, family life, tears and sadness on we strive
Upwards, focus, youth and pain those few words will remain
Family, strong, forever more.
Nothing will stop my endless roar
