Nothing and Everything.

Nothing & Everything.

A kiss can mean nothing,
A handshake between lips.
“hello, goodbye”
An intoxicated blur,
A glass half-empty

A kiss can stop you in your tracks
Turn your world upside down
Throw you into a whirlwind
of Vertigo & Vigor…
A carnal desire for
More,
More,
More!

It can tell you secrets in braille,
Tongue to tongue
Dancing a tango without leaders

A kiss can make you feel safe
Like home,
Or reveal the most terrifying truths…
Swinging open your closet door,
Letting the skeleton bones
Crash & clamor,
Piling
On a chilling, marble floor,
An opaque reflection
Of your demons, from before

A kiss can leave you breathless
Shaken to your core––
A feeling,
Bleeding
through every open pore
A tattoo you didn’t know you needed,
An obsession, deeply seeded.

A love to be consumed––
Depleted.

A kiss, can mean everything.
