Leggings.

Leggings.

Women everywhere…
On bikes,
Strutting down the street,
Running to make the light,
In leggings.

Tight
Black
Provocative leggings.
Synching their waists,
Lifting their ass—like a peach
Presented in
In Georgia,
In summer,
With afternoon tea.

Taunting men, who follow the gaze of their hips,
Swinging side to side
Like a pendulum,
Walking to the palpitating beat of an internal drum,
The standards of society pounding down
But in her superhero uniform,
She can do anything.

Her leggings.
She’s not wearing them for you,
Stop labeling her peaks and valleys, as taboo
Her gaze, that smile…be humble,
No need to misconstrue,
Her body,
is not looking for an easy screw.
