Go Light Your World

“Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world.”  – Chris Rice

One of the ways that I’ve tried to fight back against the current darkness of the world, is by finding small ways to bring a little light to others who might need it. While trying to raise awareness with artwork highlighting the heavier issues, such as the refugee crisis, and support for the more vulnerable groups, I started this series.  I wanted to remind myself and anyone viewing, that in the midst of it all, we need to keep trying to carry our candles into the world. A small flame still burns with a fierce and constant heat.
