Relationships

My Love.

It’s a feeling of missing you,

my love

when you’re not here

but I saw you

moments before

It’s the comfort when you’re here

and we don’t talk

or do anything

at all

You’re a feeling,

my love,

a mood

a space

…a warm soup on a cold day

ice cold water after a run

a hug after heartbreak

a letter from my grandma

a cookie warm from the oven…

You cannot be described,

my love,

as just

sweet or

kind or

charming

You’re an emotion

a state

a thought

Your’e my comfort,

my love,

you’re my home
