Maya Singleton

A Southern California native, Maya was named after legends. She aims to continue this sacred legacy with her authentic creative writing talent. While creative, she is structured in connecting to her subject matter. As she presents layers to her topics, she invites her readers into a dialogue, an intimate conversation of what is known and what is still being unearthed. She aims to make her life be art: intentional, beautiful, and sometimes unexplainable, but it can still be felt. Her mission is to reintroduce people to their value so that they, in turn, can do the same for others. She aims to create a sanctuary of healing. She carries two strong beliefs that help navigate her day to day: the first, that she is her ancestors’ wildest dreams and her descendants’ ladder rung, and the second, that people need to see more good people doing good things.
