One of my favorite movies has a special line that sums up how I feel about writing. "You don't have to be miserable to write, you do it because you have to, because it gnaws away at your insides if you try to ignore it. Because if you don't write, you might as well be dead." I don't write because I have to, I write because ideas will eat me up if I don't get them down.
