Kimberly Phinney

Kimberly Phinney is an award-winning English teacher, published writer, and professional photographer. She loves Jesus, her daughter and husband, as well as working in her garden and consuming strong coffee and large quantities of books-- sometimes all at once. After a near-death health scare in 2021, where she had to learn to walk again, she is determined to carpe diem and serve God in whatever she's doing. Kimberly has her M.Ed. in English and was recently accepted into her doctoral studies in education with a specialization in counseling and community care. Her poetry has been published with Christianity Today's Ekstasis Magazine, Calla Press, and Heart of Flesh, and her nonfiction can be seen around the web.
